Yesterday, our alliance joined forces with our allies in Triumvirate to defend their territory against yet another assault from BIGAB.
The battle unfolded in the 6-L4YC system in Wicked Creek, where BIGAB pushed to gain ground, setting its sights on our friends in Metenox. Responding to Triumvirate’s call, our pilots rallied to support their defense, albeit with a smaller turnout this time.
Triumvirate pulled together an impressive fleet of nearly a hundred ships, bolstered by the might of Tempest Fleet Issues they shared with us.
Our fleet composition was solid: Tempest Fleet Issue and Zarmazad, primed and ready. The clock counted down until the call came to undock: we warped to the Titan, nerves and anticipation rising as we prepared for the jump.
Upon landing in the target system, we were greeted by a wave of Void bombs. BIGAB was ready for us, and they hit us hard, halving our capacitor right out of the gate. A clever move on their part: respect where it’s due!
Despite this setback, we held our ground, trading ships for a good ten minutes. But when a FAX support ship entered the fray on their side, it became clear we weren’t making enough of a dent. After a hard-fought attempt, the call came to regroup, and we pulled back.
Though we didn’t come out with the upper hand, the experience was another chapter in our alliance’s ongoing journey. Here’s to many more battles ahead: next time, with even greater strength!
